WildHeavy Community Guidelines

Effective Date: February 1, 2026 // Last Updated: February 1, 2026

WildHeavy is built by eaters, for eaters. These guidelines help us maintain a community where authentic dining experiences are shared, trusted voices are heard, and everyone can discover what to order next.

1. Core Principles

1.1 Eat It to Rank It

Every ranking you submit should reflect a dish you've actually eaten. WildHeavy's value comes from authentic, first-hand experiences. Speculation, hearsay, or rankings based on reputation alone undermine the community.

1.2 Sponsored Meal Disclosure

If your meal was sponsored by the restaurant—whether invited, gifted, or otherwise provided at no cost—you can still rate it fairly. Just be transparent. When creating a Spec Card, toggle on "This meal was sponsored by the restaurant" and a disclosure note will appear on your card.

Sponsored meals can still be rated honestly. Disclosure builds trust; hiding it erodes it.

1.3 Conflict of Interest

If you own, manage, or work for a restaurant, you may rate your own establishment honestly. However, you must not:

1.4 Respect the House

When sharing dining experiences, be respectful of restaurant staff, fellow diners, and the establishments themselves:

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in removal and potential account suspension:

3. Ranking Integrity

WildHeavy's rankings are designed to surface the best dishes based on real community input. Here's how we maintain integrity:

3.1 What We Do

3.2 What We Don't Do

Why we don't reveal exact formulas: Sharing precise algorithmic details would make gaming easier. What matters is that our system rewards authentic, consistent, and trusted voices—not volume or manipulation.

4. The "Janitor" & Data Hygiene

WildHeavy uses AI-assisted tools we call "The Janitor" to maintain clean, consistent data across the platform.

What The Janitor Does

Our Promise: "We fix the data, not your opinion." The Janitor standardizes spelling and naming—it never changes your ratings, notes, or the substance of your reviews.

5. Reporting & Enforcement

5.1 Report Violations

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, use the in-app "Report" button available on rankings, Spec Cards, and user profiles. All reports are reviewed by our team.

5.2 Block Users

You can block any user to prevent them from viewing your content, following you, or appearing in your feed. Manage blocked users in your account settings.

5.3 Review Timeline

We aim to review all reports within 48 hours. Complex cases may take longer. You'll be notified of outcomes when applicable.

5.4 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may take the following actions:
